We filmed an episode of HIPAA Center with Vanessa Carmean, PhD recently. Vanessa heads up Healthcare Strategic Partnerships at Zayo.
During our interview, we talked about the concept of Future Proofing a network in health care.
Here’s the transcript from our conversation:
Hoala Greevy: I also saw on your site where you folks talk about future proofing a network. Can you tell us more about that?
Vanessa Carmean, PhD: Yes, when we talk about future proofing a network, what we’re talking about is enabling a healthcare system to be ready for the future.
More and more data is generated all the time, we’re bringing in new technologies, and health systems need to be prepared for that. And one way to do that is to make sure that they have infrastructure that they’re able to really scale, they’re agile, and they’re able to be prepared for the future.
A company like Zayo can help them set up a system that’s going to be sufficient for their needs in one month, one year, or 10 years from now.
